Version 1.2 of the UI Enhanced mod for Quake 3 has been released, you can download it here (523KB).

There is a new movie trailer for Racing Simulation 3, showing the generically named Formula 1 racer by Ubi Soft Entertainment in motion. The movie illustrates the game's premise and features in a minute of action-packed footage. Go here or here for the movie (16.8MB).

BBC Multimedia has released a new patch for their recent action game based on the Robot Wars TV series, Robot Wars Extreme Destruction. The patch (v1.115b) improves graphics support for ATI Radeon range (including 8500, 9000 and 9700 cards), nVidia TNT cards, and Matrox cards (G400, G450 and G550). Download the patch here (1.4MB).

Shortly after the previous patch (v1.1.2.177), Silver Style Entertainment has released another small update (v1.1.2.178) for their RTS, Soldiers of Anarchy. This update fixes a bug where destroying objects may have caused crash. Download the patch here (532KB).

Following on yesterday's Resistance and GotY Edition v1.90 patches, Bohemia Interactive has now also issued a small compatibility patch for Operation Flashpoint: Red Hammer, the Soviet campaign that's included in the Gold Edition and Gold Upgrade for their tactical shooter. Go here to download.

The German demo of Grom is now available offering the opportunity to try out this top-down 3D action role-playing game by Polish developers Rebelmind. The massive demo contains all tutorials and the initial section of the game up to the archaeologist camp, but it's entirely in German so be prepared for some guesswork. Download the demo here.

JoWooD has released a new patch for Arkane Studios' 3D RPG, Arx Fatalis. The patch (v1.15) adds an 'On Screen minimap' option, optimizes the savegame/level loading times, fixes the 'Tavern bug', and some other quest stuff. Raven Software has released the single-player game source for Star Trek: Voyager - Elite Force, supporting mod authors to develop projects for this part of their sci-fi first-person shooter like the Holomatch part before it.
